The Space

Cedar Solace is Nordic-inspired design meets North Shore tranquility. This custom 3-bedroom retreat sits hidden among towering cedars and brilliant fall foliage, featuring clean, minimalist design with pine and metal accents.

The comfortable master suite offers a king bed, private en-suite bathroom with forest-view soaking tub, and walk-in glass shower—perfect for unwinding after days of fall hiking or skiing adventures. Two additional bedrooms provide king and queen beds plus bunks, ideal for families or ski groups seeking both comfort and complete forest privacy.

The heart of our cabin showcases a gorgeous custom metal fireplace surrounded by authentic north woods modern elements, complemented by beautiful local Minnesota art. Our large kitchen island and fully-stocked kitchen make meal preparation a joy, whether you're brewing morning coffee with lake views through autumn foliage or preparing hearty après-ski dinners.

Modern amenities include in-floor heating, fast WiFi for remote work, ski rack with boot warmers for quick Lutsen access, and our brand-new 6-person custom sauna by Minnesota-based Sauna Supply Co—perfect for fall evenings and après-ski Nordic wellness. Step outside to your private fire pit nestled below the expansive patio, or fire up the grill while soaking in Lake Superior views through spectacular fall colors.

Adventure awaits at your doorstep—close Superior Hiking Trail access for peak fall colors, snowmobile trails, and just 7 minutes to Lutsen Mountains' 95 runs. Yet you'll feel completely secluded in our peaceful cedar grove at the end of a private cul-de-sac, accessed by a winding forest driveway that ensures your retreat remains truly yours with no neighbors in sight.

Winter note: All-wheel drive recommended for our scenic, tree-lined driveway during snowy months—it's worth it for the privacy and forest serenity that awaits.

The entire Cedar Solace property is exclusively yours, including:

- All 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
- Kitchen, living areas, and laundry room
- Private patio with Lake Superior views
- Fire pit area and parking spaces
- All outdoor grounds

Complete privacy - no shared spaces or off-limit areas.

Policies

No pets allowed. This is to ensure the comfort of guests with allergies, as well as to protect the home.

Cancellation policy:

- 30 days = full refund
- 14 days = partial refund (½)
